Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
Repairing the abdominal wall and removing redundant skin — after pregnancy or significant weight loss.
Overview
Abdominoplasty addresses the abdominal wall in patients whose muscles have separated (diastasis recti) and whose skin no longer retracts after pregnancy or weight loss.
Often combined with liposuction of the flanks for a complete result.
Technique
Low transverse incision, muscle plication, and skin re-draping. Drains are placed for the first week.
